Az állam ne akarjon közvetlenül startupokba befektetni és győzteseket kiválasztani, mert abban hagyományosan rossz – szögezte le a HVG-nek írt elemzésében Balogh Petya startupper, a STRT Nyrt. alapító-vezetője. Az új kormánynak szabályozóként, első megrendelőként és nem üzleti döntéshozóként kellene támogatnia a startupokat, például a tudományos felfedezéstől a piaci sikerig vezető út „leaszfaltozásával”.

Idén is megrendezésre került a BÉT Legek díjátadó, amely során elismerésben részesültek a tőkepiac elmúlt évben kiemelkedő teljesítményt nyújtó szereplői. A gálán Varga Mihály, a Magyar Nemzeti Bank elnöke, Csányi Péter, az OTP vezérigazgatója, illetve Tóth Tibor, a Budapesti Értéktőzsde vezérigazgatója is beszédet mondott.

Alig 24 hónappal a Budapesti Értéktőzsde (BÉT) Xtend piacára lépését követően a hazai startup szektor egyik legismertebb befektetési- és képzési társasága, a STRT Holding kezdeményezte a tőzsde szabályozott piacára, a Standardre való átsorolását, egyben nyilvános részvénykibocsátásba (IPO) kezd.
