OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT

Péter Balogh
Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, STRT Holding

Péter Balogh (Petya) one of the most recognized figures in Central Europe’s tech scene. His journey began in the early 2000s, working on Nokia’s WiFi product development team before founding PDAmill, a mobile game studio that went on to win international awards. In 2004, he co-founded NNG, creators of the iGO navigation software, which scaled into a global company with $100M+ annual revenue and over 800 employees worldwide. After stepping away from operations, he became a prolific angel and institutional investor, backing over 100 startups and helping shape the CEE startup ecosystem. He’s also widely known from the Hungarian edition of Shark Tank (Cápák között), where his investments and mentorship have inspired a new generation of founders.

Péter Langmár
Co-founder and Investment Director, STRT Holding

Péter Langmár (Peták) is one of the most authentic voices in the CEE startup space. He pivoted to entrepreneurship from a background in arts and media theory, discovering startups via the Paris-based Artscience Lab. His first startup, Brickflow, laid the groundwork for Lab.Coop, and later Green Fox Academy—an IT bootcamp training 2,000+ students annually across three countries and successfully exited in 2022. He then founded SmartWare.tech, a seed investment firm focused on hardware startups. At STRT, Péter oversees the full investment lifecycle—from managing deal flow to structuring syndicates and preparing a new venture fund. He honed his investment mindset at London’s Newton Venture Program and constantly balances fast execution with long-term ecosystem building.

Mária Balogh-Mázi (Maja)
Co-founder and CMO, STRT Holding

She brings decades of expertise in technology, HR, and venture development. Starting her career as a programmer and later a project manager at Statlogics, she led large-scale banking software projects across Eastern Europe. She then joined Dorsum, managing high-impact products like OTP Smartbróker and the Hungarian Post’s mobile app. A certified PMP since 2012, Maja has led complex, multimillion-euro projects with 10–20 person teams. As CEO of DreamJo.bs, she championed employer branding and transparency in hiring across Hungary. At STRT, she drives not only marketing, but also community-building, values-based growth, and female founder advocacy.

István Nagy
Co-founder and CFO, STRT Holding

He brings a sharp financial edge to the team. A seasoned executive with deep experience in corporate finance, capital markets, and restructuring, he previously led advisory projects at Deloitte, including M&A, due diligence, and strategic financial planning. At A.R. Tapes, he oversaw a complete company turnaround, and later as Head of Finance at Multipolaris Ltd., managed everything from accounting and taxation to FP&A and financial instruments. At NNG, he ensured transparency and shareholder alignment for both founders and private equity stakeholders. Under his leadership, STRT closed two private rounds in 2024, raising over HUF 600M, and is set to adopt IFRS reporting from 2025—laying the groundwork for public market entry and international investor engagement.

András P. Tóth
Co-founder and CTO, STRT Holding

He shapes the educational and tech backbone of STRT. A serial entrepreneur and educator, he’s among the region’s most versatile innovators. His first exit came from Gyümölcstárhely, a web hosting company later acquired by Websupport. He’s the founder of YearCompass, now available in 53 languages, and CodeBerry, a global programming school offering native-language coding education. A tech enthusiast since childhood—his first international digital project launched at age 11—András has prepared thousands of founders for conscious growth. At STRT, he blends scalable tech with an education-first approach—exactly the mix CEE startups need to thrive.
